The Last Eight is an intimate documentary that takes audiences behind the scenes of a spectacular Rose Parade float during the final eight hours before it begins its journey to Pasadena. Following the volunteers, gardeners, artists, and craftspeople racing against the clock, the film reveals the thousands of hands, flowers, and stories that bring a life-sized pirate ship to life. Beneath the spectacle is a deeper story about community, belonging, creativity, and the people who come together to create something bigger than themselves.
